this is super cute! reminds me of a nintendo game for sure. I like that you know which fish you'll get based on how many clicks you have to do after playing for a bit. super cute and charming game.
This game is very clever and I'm in love with the artstyle. I would say the nibble mechanic is a little repetitive, and I totally understand that's what fishing is about, but it would be interesting it it was even further randomized/faster. I didn't get to any new regions, but I really want to come back to this one again later to experiment more! The sound design is absolutely beautiful too.
The art is absolutely great and feels like something you'd find in a game on steam. The "humaning" feels repetitive though. Having the nibble/bite prompts pop up randomly across the screen would be more engaging. I would also have the value of the human you caught pop up when you catch it and would put the prices of each upgrade/item beside it in the shop. Love that there's upgrades and different regions though!
This game is charming. The art looks great, although some of the exposition can get a big long. The white text is sometimes a little hard to see. Also the fishing mini-game feels a bit small and repetitive, maybe using the button macros to make it larger comparative to the screen size, and a little image of the type of human you caught would be a great way to make it feel less tedious. Overall I love the concept and most of the execution.
